In this heavy hitting pain formula, our wild lettuce has been boiled down to make the strongest possible extract to support the musculoskeletal system. Wild lettuce was traditionally used in Southern Folk Medicine and Western Herbalism for diminishing pain, easing muscle tension, and inducing relaxation. Jamaican dogwood is added as an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic (1 & 2) traditionally used for easing headaches, neuralgia, arthritis, menstrual cramps, nervous tension, and more. Both of these pair well with corydalis, a traditional natural pain reliever with an alkaloid called THP that acts like a mild opium poppy and has traditionally been used to treat rheumatism, arthritis, painful menstruation, stress, and anxiety (3). Use caution in dosage until you see how these herbs affect you as they may cause drowsiness or spaciness.
